Relax! Your home is insect-free.
Protect your rooms from flies, spiders, mosquitoes and wasps with a VELUX insect screen. A great option to help you keep uninvited guests out of your home.

Unobstructed panoramic views
Our insect screens are made from a durable, transparent material, which is barely visible and does not obstruct your views. When not in use, the net can be stowed away in the sleek top casing. The VELUX insect net is installed on the wall, allowing you to enjoy fresh air from an open roof window and benefit from ventilation and cooling at the same time.

Combine with other VELUX blinds or shutters
The insect screen can be combined with all VELUX interior blinds for additional light control and combined with VELUX awning blinds and roller shutters for additional heat protection.

Long-lasting VELUX quality
Quality is a major priority at VELUX. Each product is tested to ensure colour fastness, tear resistance, and optimal functionality, so you can create the ideal light conditions for your home for many years to come. All materials are tested for their quality through complex test procedures and we only use the best materials for our VELUX insect screens to give you the ideal protection against insects.

Available in a light silver grey net. VELUX insect screens run in side channels made of matural anodised aluminium making it completely insect proof.

Installation of VELUX insect screens

VELUX insect screens are fitted to the wall and not the window itself, so you can benefit from ventilation and cooling and still ensure an insect free environment. They can be installed on all wall types as long as the foundation is level and the panel and/or lining isn't out of square. The insect roller screen as well as bottom and side profiles are screwed to the wall, adjusted size wise and then the rest is snapped into place. If your roof window is combined with a vertical window element or the opening in the ceiling is bigger than 2.4 m, you will need two insect screens and an installation kit ZOZ 157 to install them.
